AUEB Executive MBA team comes in first in the 18th Global MBA Trophy, competing with some of the world's top business schools!

The sailing team of the Executive MBA of the Athens University of Economics and Business , comprising students and alumni, competed with top business schools in the 18th Global MBA Trophy 2024! The Global MBA Trophy is an international institution organized by London Business School and includes sailing races in different parts of the world in which alumni and students from the best international business schools take part.

This year's event took place from 10-13th of April with the support of the Hellenic Yacht Club. Participants included crews from London Business School, INSEAD, Cambridge, Imperial College Business School, HEC Paris, Wharton, IE Madrid, Kellogg/WHU, Polimi GSOM, Said Business School University of Oxford, SDA Bocconi, Tuck School of Business Dartmouth, Yale School of Management, among others.

The AUEB Executive MBA crew took first place in the B+ category with the crew from HEC Paris in second place, and two crews from London Business School in third and fourth. This institution is an opportunity for participants to effectively implement the desired skills of an MBA graduate. Sailing is an exciting experience as it requires leadership and teamwork skills, strategic thinking, fast and effective decision making, stamina, teamwork, effective communication, and crisis management.

In total, besides the sailing games the initiative includes additional events whose main goal is for alumni and students of the top business schools in the world to come together, opening up opportunities to partner on and off campus or to just socialize further.
