International Distinction for ESN Athens AUEB at the ESN Awards 2025

ESN Athens AUEB was awarded the Health and Wellbeing prize at the annual ESN Awards, among more than 40 countries participating in the Erasmus Student Network.

The ESN Awards are an institution that highlights the most innovative and high-quality initiatives within the ESN network across Europe, and this particular distinction is awarded to initiatives that promote health, wellbeing, and a balanced student life.

For our association, this is a very important moment, as it is the first time we receive such a distinction at the European level. We are especially proud, because through this award, the collective effort, passion, and consistency of our team are recognized, as well as the quality of the activities we organize to support and integrate incoming Erasmus students.

The award concerns the Universities Night Run initiative, an activity that combined sports, health, and social interaction, bringing together students from Greece and abroad through an unforgettable experience. The event took place in the context of the Athens Authentic Marathon, and its aim was to offer students a different way to discover the city, get physically active, and build bonds with one another.

We hope to continue making you proud with our work and to offer even more unforgettable experiences to incoming Erasmus students.
