Voudouri Irini

Irini Voudouris is a Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business. A graduate in electrical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, she received a master’s degree in strategic management from HEC/ ESSEC/ Université Paris X and her PhD from the Université Paris X. Her research interests revolve around innovation and entrepreneurship, strategic management and competitiveness, corporate governance, and sustainable development. She has published research in leading academic journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Research Policy, Public Administration Review, Global Strategy, Public Administration, Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Ethics, British Journal of Management. She has served as head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit of AUEB (2017-2020), director of the Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship Laboratory (2017-2022) and director of the MA in Heritage Management (2018-2021). She has participated in many national and European research programs, acting as a director in several of them. Parallel to her research activities she has contributed as management consultant and advisor in private and public sector organizations.
