Guided Tour of the National Library of Greece in its new Building by the Hellenic Economic Library Network (H.E.LI.N.), 12.2.2019, 15:00-17:00

In 2017 - 2018, H.E.LI.N. organized informational visits and guided tours to the library members of the network.  The libraries of the following organizations participate in H.E.LI.N.:  Alpha Bank, National Bank of Greece, the Hellenic Statistical Authority, the Centre of Planning and Economic Research, the Athens University of Economics and Business, the University of Piraeus, the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation, the Bank of Greece, the Ministry of Finance and Development, and the Harokopio University.

This year, in 2019, the Network wants to organize and present some of its audience's suggestions which have been taken from evaluations of activities and events in previous years.  Within this context, the Network has planned two guided tours in the new building of the National Library of Greece at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.  The tours will be conducted by the Library's specialized and experienced staff.

The first guided tour will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 15.00 - 17.00.  The meeting point is the reception area of the National Library of Greece (NLG) 10 minutes before the start of the tour.  The tour will begin at 15:00 on the ground floor and the NGL Borrowing Department and will continue on the second and fourth levels of the building for about one (1) hour.   Following the tour, the participants will be able to enjoy a walk on the grounds of the cultural center, depending on their time.
