Webinar on the LeapSpace Service (formerly ScienceDirect AI)
Thursday, May 28, 2026, 13:00
We would like to inform you about an upcoming webinar regarding the LeapSpace service (formerly ScienceDirect AI), which is provided through the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link) to all universities and research centers in the country. LeapSpace is an AI-assisted research workspace that helps researchers explore literature, identify relevant authors, and discover funding opportunities. LeapSpace is powered by data from Scopus and ScienceDirect, as well as third-party full-text articles.
The webinar will cover the platform's core features and introduce two new tools:
- File Upload: Allows researchers to upload up to five of their own documents and explore what the broader peer-reviewed literature says about their work, drawing insights from over 100 million trusted sources.
- Claim Radar: Identifies specific claims within a manuscript and matches them against the scientific record, showing where evidence supports, contradicts, or is controversial—enabling researchers to strengthen their work prior to submission.
Date and Time: Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 13:00
Note: Τhe seminar presentation and a certificate of attendance will be sent to all participants.
