Theodore Z. Kalamboukis is Professor in the Department of Informatics and director of the Information Processing Laboratory. His research activities are concentrated on issues of distributed and parallel processing as well as information management (information retrieval, cross-language retrieval and text categorization).
From 2001 to 2007 he was elected as Vice Rector of the university in Financial Planning and Development.
