DIMITRAKOS THEODOSIOS

Dr. Theodosis Dimitrakos is Assistant Professor of Stochastic Operations Research in the Department of Statistics of the Athens University of Economic and Business. Prior to his current position, he served as Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Sciences, at the University of the Aegean. He holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics and Actuarial-Financial Mathematics of the University of the Aegean, a Master' s degree in Statistics from the Department of Statistics of the Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Bachelor' s degree in Mathematics from the University of the Aegean. He has been teaching for approximately twenty years in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of the Aegean and the Athens University of Economics and Business. His research interests focus on applications of Probability Theory and stochastic models in Operations Research. He has published research papers in high-level recognized scientific journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Methodology and Computing in Applied Probability, International Journal of Production Economics, and Communications in Statistics – Theory and Methods. He has also published several papers in international conference proceedings with referees and has participated in numerous international scientific conferences. His scientific work has received more than 370 citations in literature.
