DEMIRIS NIKOLAOS
Nikos Demiris is an associate professor in Biostatistics at the Statistics Department of the Athens University of Economics and Business. Before returning to Athens he worked as a researcher for five years at the MRC Biostatistics Unit in Cambridge, UK. He spent his sabbatical during 2018-19 as a senior statistician at the Cambridge Clinical Trials Centre of the University of Cambridge. He has published 70 papers in Statistics and its application areas, including in journals like Nature and Lancet. He has h-index=29 and more than 2200 citations. His doctoral students work as academics in Greek Universities or researchers in Universities abroad, including Cambridge and Oxford.
