ANASTASIOU DIMITRIOS
Dimitrios Anastasiou is Assistant Professor in Corporate Finance at the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Before joining AUEB, he served as a Senior Research Economist at Alpha Bank, an Adjunct Lecturer at AUEB, and a Research Assistant at AbbVie Pharmaceuticals. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance, an M.Sc. in Applied Economics and Finance, and a B.Sc. in Economics from AUEB.
His main research interests lie in empirical banking, corporate finance, SME finance, and behavioral finance. His research has been presented at international academic conferences and central banks. He has authored more than 50 publications in refereed international journals and chapters in edited volumes.
His research has appeared, among others, in Risk Analysis, Financial Management, Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money. He also serves on the editorial board of academic journals and has acted as a referee for numerous international scholarly journals.
Finally, based on publications over the past decade, he ranks among the top 7% of academics/authors in Finance worldwide and the top 3% in Greece, according to IDEAS/RePEc.
