Summer School on "Cultural Heritage for Sustainable Tourism"

The Athens University of Economics and Business in collaboration with the Center of Sustainable Entrepreneurship Excelixi, which belongs to the Piraeus Bank Group, form the Summer School titled "Cultural Heritage Marketing for Sustainable Tourism" that targets students of foreign universities. The Program focuses on how the cultural heritage of a place/destination/country can become the basis on which to position this place as a top global tourism destination through the use of modern marketing strategies and techniques.

The Program lasts two weeks and is based on a combination of educational methods such as lectures from recognized academics and managers and visits to places and organizations of cultural interest (e.g., museums, archaeological sites). Assistant Professor Konstantinos Indounas is the Scientific Director of the Program. The extensive experience of the two organizations in line with the support of the whole partnership by Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation ensure the provision of high quality educational services.
