Students of the MBA full-time, AUEB, won in the Warsaw Negotiation Round 2020
The MBA AUEB students, Maria Bertzemi, Vassilis Dervos, and Alexandros Floros, supervised by the Assistant Professor Ilias Kapoutsis and Mr. Giorgos Trialonis, won the 4th place in the international negotiation competition Warsaw Negotiation Round 2020.
In the final phase of the competition, which took place online from the 16th to the 22nd of November 2020, major universities from all over the world, including the London School of Economics (UK), IÉSEG School of Management (France), HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management (Germany), University of Mumbai (India), and Charles University (Czech Republic), competed for the trophy.
After four rounds of intense negotiations, the team won the 4th place in the overall ranking. In addition, the judges awarded the team for having the “best negotiating style” while participants voted them as the team with the “most creative ideas”.
The students represented Greece in the Warsaw Negotiation Round as winners of the 2019 national student negotiation competition - Athens Negotiations Tournament (ANT), which was organized by the Department of Business Administration under the scientific supervision of Assistant Professor Ilias Kapoutsis.
