Reaccreditation of the MBA International and the Executive MBA by AMBA - The Association of MBAs
The Executive MBA and the MBA International programmes of AUEB have been re-accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the international impartial authority on postgraduate management education.
Founded in 1967, AMBA is the only international accreditation body for MBA programmes that sets global quality standards and specific requirements for MBAs. To date, AMBA has accredited programmes in approximately 260 universities in more than 75 countries, representing only 2% of the MBA programmes offered worldwide.
ΜΒΑ International and Executive MBA, AUEB, are the only Greek - university level - programmes in the AMBA list.
After an extensive online and in-person assessment last December, the MBA International and the Executive MBA of AUEB renewed their accreditation as a confirmation that the course curriculum, the quality of teaching and research staff, and the services offered to students meet the highest standards set by AMBA. As expressed in the evaluation report of the international assessors: "We were impressed by the effort, dedication and enthusiasm that the entire team of the two MBA programmes expressed in the accreditation process."
The evaluation also took into account the views of students, alumni, employers as well as faculty of the two programmes.
For students of the Executive MBA and the MBA International, this accreditation ensures the international recognition of their degree and confirms that their confidence in these programmes offers them the best quality education. For companies recruiting executives, it demonstrates the quality of the graduates of the two programmes.
The MBA International and the Executive MBA are the only AMBA accredited MBA programmes in the Greek public universities to date.
