ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at the international conference MSR 2019 by members of AUEB’s Department of Management Science and Technology
The distinction "ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award" was granted to Zoe Kotti, undergraduate student and Professor Diomidis Spinellis of AUEB’s Department of Management Science and Technology, for their paper "Standing on Shoulders or Feet? MSR Data Papers", presented in the international conference “MSR 19: 16th International Conference on Mining Software Repositories”, which was held in Montreal on 26th and 27th of May 2019.
The award-winning paper, which concerns the analysis of the impact of papers that publish data sets for further empirical research, has been distinguished among 47 scientific nominations.
It should be noted that the "Mining Software Repositories" conference, according to CORE classification, belongs to class A (excellent conference and highly respected in a discipline area), bringing together the research community, every year.
