Graduation
The Interdepartmental Master’s Program in Human Resource Management of the Athens University of Economics and Business, with great joy and emotion, held the graduation ceremony for the Full-Time Program graduates of the 2023-2024 cohort and the Part-Time Program graduates of the 2022-2024 cohort on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Antoniadou Amphitheatre of the University.
Greetings were delivered by the Rector of the Athens University of Economics and Business, Professor Vasileios Vasdekis; the Program Director, Professor Maria Vakola; the CEO and Partner of RESPONSE S.A. and member of the Program’s Advisory Committee, Ms. Angelina Michailidou; as well as the President of the Master’s Program Alumni Association, Ms. Melina Tsiliou.
In addition, greetings were delivered by the President of the Greek Human Resources Management Association, Mr. Sotirios Stamatios, and the CEO of Edenred, Ms. Maria Verouchi, both members of the Program’s Advisory Committee. They also awarded a scholarship in memory of Christos Giannoulopoulos, amounting to €1,500, to the student Rafail Kontaxis from the 2023 intake of the Full-Time Program, who graduated with distinction with a final grade of 9.28.
Furthermore, on behalf of KPMG, Ms. Aspasia Dimopoulou, the company’s Human Resources Director, awarded a €1,500 scholarship to the student Anastasios Sarigiannis from the 2022 intake of the Part-Time Program, who graduated with distinction with a final grade of 9.23.
As part of the event, Teaching Excellence Awards for the academic year 2023-2024 were also presented to faculty members of the Program: Mr. Dimitrios Lymperopoulos, member of the Special Teaching Staff, for the course “Communication and Crisis Management” in the Full-Time Program, and Ms. Kleopatra Deliou for the course “Human Resource Management and Quality Management” in the Part-Time Program.

During the ceremony, the Teaching Excellence Awards for the academic year 2022-2023 were presented to Professor Maria Vakola for the course “Organizational Psychology and Behavior” (Part-Time Program) and Associate Professor Alexandros Papalexandris for the course “Strategic and International Human Resource Management” (Full-Time Program).
In addition, greetings were delivered by the President of the Hellenic Association for Human Resource Management, Sotirios Stamatios, and Ms. Maria Verouchi, CEO of Edenred, who awarded a €1,500 scholarship in memory of Christos Giannoulopoulos, offered jointly by the Hellenic Association for Human Resource Management and Edenred, to student Varvara Marinou (Full-Time Program, Cohort 2022), who graduated with distinction (final grade 9.33).
The greetings concluded with Ms. Peggy Velliotou, Partner at KPMG, who awarded a €1,500 scholarship, offered by KPMG, to student Angelos Viglatzis (Part-Time Program, Cohort 2021), who graduated with distinction (final grade 8.81).

Ms. Aspasia Demopoulou, Head of Human Resources at KPMG, delivered a greeting and awarded a €1,500 scholarship (offered by KPMG) to student Elli-Goula Kalogerakou (Part-Time Program, Cohort 2020), who graduated with distinction (final grade 8.91).
Sotirios Stamatios, President of the Hellenic Association for Human Resource Management, awarded a €1,500 scholarship to student Efthymios Athanasiou (Full-Time Program, Cohort 2021), who graduated with distinction (final grade 9.21), offered by Edenred in memory of Christos Giannoulopoulos.
During the ceremony, High Teaching Performance Awards were presented to Athanasios Gkouras for the course “Compensation Policy and Systems” (Part-Time Program) and Dimitrios Lymperopoulos for the course “Communication and Crisis Management” (Full-Time Program) for the academic year 2021–2022.

On April 18, 2019, the 15th Graduation Ceremony of the Master’s Program in Human Resource Management took place. Seventy students graduated: 39 from the Part-Time Program and 31 from the Full-Time Program. Best wishes for a successful career to all.

On Wednesday, April 6, 2016, the 12th Graduation Ceremony of the Master’s Program in Human Resource Management was held at the Antoniadou Auditorium of AUEB. Seventy-four students graduated: 41 from the Part-Time Program and 33 from the Full-Time Program.
