ANASTASIOU DIMITRIOS
Dimitrios Anastasiou is Assistant Professor in Corporate Finance at the Department of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Before joining AUEB, he also served as a Senior Research Economist at Alpha Bank, Adjunct Lecturer at AUEB, and Research Assistant at AbbVie Pharmaceuticals. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance, an M.Sc. in Applied Economics and Finance, and a B.Sc. in Economics from AUEB.
His main research interests lie in empirical banking, corporate finance, SME finance, and behavioral finance. His research work has been presented at several international academic conferences as well as central banks. He has published extensively with over 30 publications in refereed international journals and book chapters in collective volumes.
His research has been published in journals such as the Risk Analysis, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Journal of Business Research, and Annals of Operations Research. He is also an editorial board member of Financial Economics Letters and has acted as an Ad Hoc Referee in many well-reputed academic journals.
Finally, he has been ranked in the top 9% of academics in Finance worldwide over the past decade, according to IDEAS RePEc.
