PETRIDIS KONSTANTINOS
Dr. Konstantinos Petridis is an Assistant Professor in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Department of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He holds a degree from the Department of Mathematics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), a master’s degree in Logistics Management from the Economics Department of AUTH, and another master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, and Financial Management of Strategic Decisions from the Department of Business Administration at the University of Macedonia. His doctoral studies focus on Mathematical Programming models specialized in Production Scheduling of natural resources and supply chain design from Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH). At the postdoctoral level, he has worked as a researcher at Aston Business School, UK, on productivity measurement, and as a scholar of the State Scholarship Foundation on energy production from biomass using multi-stochastic programming models at the Department of Production and Management of the Technical University of Crete. He has also worked on projects with Neoma Business School in data analysis. He has taught courses on Total Quality Management at the Hellenic Open University and Operations and Supply Chain Management at Neoma Business School. His research focuses on productivity measurement using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models, supply chain design, forecasting models, and production scheduling models. Dr. Petridis' articles have been published in reputable scientific journals such as Computers & Operations Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Annals of Operations Research, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Journal of Cleaner Production, Resources Conservation and Recycling, International Transactions in Operational Research, Research in International Business and Finance, Operational Research: An International Journal, Computational Economics, Renewable Energy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, and Journal of the Operational Research Society. He has also authored a book published by Springer on productivity measurement using the GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) program.
