Kravariti Fotini
Foteini Kravariti is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the School of Business Administration, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). She serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and is a member of the steering committee for the Research Methodology Subject Interest Group of the British Academy of Management (BAM). Additionally, she is an academic member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (academic MCIPD) and a fellow at the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Before joining AUEB, Dr. Kravariti was an Assistant Professor of HRM at the University of Portsmouth and at Deree – The American College of Greece. She has also taught at the University of Manchester and in the online postgraduate programmes at the University of Hull, as well as serving as an External Executive Supervisor of postgraduate dissertations at Henley Business School. Her contributions extend to roles as an External Examiner at the University of Huddersfield Business School, Birmingham City University, and Malta's Further and Higher Education Authority.
Dr. Kravariti holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and an MSc in HRM (International Development) from the University of Manchester, where she was awarded a full scholarship for her doctoral studies. She earned her PhD in Development, Policy, and Management from the University of Manchester, with a thesis on the impact of national and organisational culture on the implementation of talent management.
Her current research interests focus on talent management, people analytics, and quiet quitting. Dr. Kravariti's work has been published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and books such as Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. She has received several awards for her research and teaching excellence and has participated in funded research projects.
