AUEB’s Department of Economics supports the organization of the 20th Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics from July 11 through July 15, 2022 at Tinos

The Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business supports the organization of the 20th Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics, which  takes place at Tinos from July 11 through July 15, 2022.

This summer school involves invited faculty and PhD candidates from Greece and abroad, in various areas of economic theory and econometrics. The first meeting took place in 2002 and the series has since been continued each summer.

This year the set of invited participants includes Eugenio Miravete (Univ. of Texas at Austin), Patrick Rey (Toulouse School of Economics), Costis Daskalakis (MIT), John Geanakoplos (Yale), Michael Haliassos (Goethe Univ. Frankfurt), Loukas Karabarbounis (Univ. of Minnesota) and Philip Oreopoulos (Univ. of Toronto), among several other distinguished guests. The program also includes several presentations by advanced PhD students and junior faculty.
