The Athens University of Economics and Business welcomed a delegation from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), China
On September 22nd, the Athens University of Economics and Business welcomed a six-member delegation from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), a high-quality Chinese university with which the Athens University of Economics and Business has signed a memorandum of understanding in the past.
On behalf of the AUEB, the delegation was welcomed in the Senate Hall by Professor Vassilis Papadakis, Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Growth, Professor K. Vasilis Vasdekis, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Personnel, Professor George Chalamandaris of the Department of Accounting and Finance, and Professors Ioannis Ntzoufras and Alexandra Livada of the Department of Statistics.
AUEB students had recently participated in a SWUFE summer school in China, and the aim of the SWUFE’s delegation was to further strengthen the relations between the two institutions and explore additional ways of cooperation. The two sides met in a very warm atmosphere, with AUEB also providing a working lunch in honour of the Chinese delegation, discussing possibilities for further cooperation. Both sides committing to further strengthen their partnership.
