AUEB Study Abroad
Over the past three years, AUEB has welcomed international students to experience a semester of study, in the period late January to late May, in vibrant Athens. The Study Abroad program is purposefully designed in collaboration a partner university, ensuring a tailor-made academic experience that meets the unique interests and needs of incoming students. Students attend courses and examinations in Athens, while earning credit at their home institution. Courses are designed in alignment with the partner University’s academic goals, and are deliveredy by AUEB faculty members recognized for both their subject expertise and excellence in teaching.
AUEB Study Abroad’s current partner is Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. AUEB’s vision is to extend this initiative to collaborate with additional academic partners worldwide.
Faculty-led short visits to Athens
AUEB has acquired significant expertise over the years in organizing short visits of international academic institutions to Athens. Universities like William & Mary, Drexel University, Kelley School of Business (Indiana University) and others entrust us with putting together for them a schedule of visits on thematic areas relevant to business, management and economics. AUEB’s deep network of connections to local industry and high-profile individuals ensures your students will get a tailor-made schedule of visits relevant to your course’s learning outcomes and objectives.

Summer Schools
AUEB partners with high-quality institutions from abroad to deliver summer schools in Greece. Our summer schools combine academic rigor and international recognition, enabling participants to broadening their academic expertise in specialized topics while experiencing the greek summer. Business Confucius Institute
The Business Confucius Institute in Athens (BCI Athens), the first of its kind in Greece, was established at AUEB in October 2009 in cooperation with the University of International Business & Economics (UIBE) in Beijing and the Office of Chinese Language Council. International BCI Athens aims to deepen friendly relationships between Greece and China, strengthen educational and cultural exchange as well as cooperation between the two countries, and enhance the understanding of the Chinese language and culture.
MOUs
AUEB has signed MOUs with many Universities and organizations from around the world. The signing of a general MOU in broad areas such as student exchange or research cooperation constitutes the beginning of the process of further exploring more specialized possibilities for cooperation with each institution.
