The Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) has been ranked 94th in Europe and 301st worldwide in the field of Computer Science, based on its research performance over the past decade (2015–2024), according to the evaluation body “Computer Science (CS) Rankings.”

This ranking focuses on institutions conducting leading-edge research in key scientific areas of Computer Science, based on publications in high-impact international conferences in the field. The research data are sourced from the Digital Bibliography & Library Project (DBLP), a comprehensive database dedicated exclusively to Computer Science literature. The DBLP includes over 55,000 journal volumes, more than 55,000 conference proceedings, and 140,000 monographs.

It is worth noting that the DBLP database is updated monthly, and the university rankings are based on research data from this database, with the latest update in November 2024.
