Social Support Actions at AUEB
The goal of this program was to help different groups of students that require special support in order to pursue their studies at AUEB, fully exploit the services offered by the University and complete their studies on time. The program targets three student groups: students with special needs, students with limited financial means and students that postpone completion of their studies. The program concluded at the end of the 2022-2023 academic year.
- For students with special needs, the program included actions to ease physical access to the premises of AUEB as well as access to AUEB's services (hardware and software for accessibility) and, finally, financial support to handle the additional costs incurred due to their studies.
- For students with limited financial means, the program included financial support actions to handle the additional costs incurred due to their studies.
- For students that postpone completion of their studies, the program has reinforced the student support services of the University during its run, with personnel that can help diagnose and treat issues that lead students to fail and delay the completion of their studies.
The program was funded by the Operational Program "Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning", co-funded by Greece and the European Union.
