Delegation of the Chinese Jinan University at AUEB

The Athens University of Economics and Business welcomed on September 18th a five-member delegation from Jinan University, China. Jinan is an esteemed Chinese University, that has expressed interest in partnering with AUEB. The Chinese delegation was welcomed at the AUEB Senate Hall by Prof. Vasilis Papadakis, Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Growth at AUEB, Prof. Thomas Moutos, Dean of the School of Economics and Prof. Georgios Economides, President of the Department of International and European Economic Studies. During this first visit of Jinan University to AUEB, ways of cooperation between the two institutions were explored, with particular emphasis on student exchange, summer schools and joint research.. The two sides met in a very warm atmosphere and pledged to expand their cooperation further in the near future.
