Information for students
The Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Program is directed to incoming students from non-EU Partner Institutions, which have signed an Agreement with AUEB for the mobility of their students.
Under this Program, incoming students have the opportunity to spend a study period at AUEB with the use of the ECTS system which ensures academic recognition of the learning outcomes.
Participant students receive individual financial support from EU funds for their study period abroad. Additionally, they receive a grant for their travel costs to and from the Receiving Institution, based on the kilometric distance between the place of origin of the Participant and the Receiving Institution. The payment is made in two installments.
Candidates with special needs may request an additional grant to cover additional mobility costs resulting from moving abroad.
According to the rules and regulations of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program, all participants must have adequate insurance coverage for their entire mobility period at AUEB.
The participants themselves are responsible for covering the costs of the mandatory insurance coverage.
For visa and residence permit related issues information is provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and is available at the following site: http://www.mfa.gr/en/visas/visa-types/national-visas.html
