DATA ENGINEER | CERVED
We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and architectures that drive business insights and decision-making. You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to manage data flows, ensure data integrity, and support analytics. This role requires expertise in SQL, ETL tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and proficiency in programming languages like Python or Scala.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with an emphasis on data manipulation and processing.
- Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, such as Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Talend.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake) and best practices.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), especially in relation to data storage, computing, and pipeline management.
- Data Management: Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.
- Big Data Tools: Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) for handling large datasets is an advantage.
- Data Quality & Security: Knowledge of data quality principles, data cleansing techniques, and security best practices for managing sensitive data.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and excellent communication skills to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
